Bossard began her career working in the commercial seafood sector in the year 1999. In that year she was employed on Murat Aritan's halibut 65 feet vessel, transformed into a fish tender. Bossard was married to Aritan in 1999. The two have joined in fighting for their company. They are supporters of conservative and sustainable renewable resource management. Otolith is a direct wholesale seafood retailer, was founded on the 7th of July 2007 Bella Bossard (age three), Andre Bossard (1 year old) and the Bossard's mother. Bossard had returned to Philadelphia after having two young children.
